Save the date for our first quarterly breakfast will be on March 14th at FLDWRK (church) at 8am-10am. This is a more intentional space of gathering out tables with some breakfast and coffee and diving in a bit deeper.

Thursdays during Lent, you’re invited to an opportunity to support our practice of drawing near God in silence. We will be providing an hour a week to gather in silent prayer. Thursday mornings from 7:45-9am, the small conference room at @FLDWRK will be open. Come and gather in community to practice solitude.  Sometimes being in a room with others, even if we aren’t talking, helps us focus more and enter God’s company more fully. At 7:45am we will briefly pray aloud to open our time, but the rest will be quiet.  Feel free to slip in (and out) at any point. Hope to see you there.

Starting on March 11th at 7am-8am at FLDWRK and repeating every Wednesday for 8 weeks, we will be diving into the book Blessed Are the Others: Jesus' Way in a Violent World by Andrew DeCort (who will be joining us as an Exploration Guest this year). You can find a copy here!

This will take us from March 11th - April 29th and our goal is to review one chapter a week.

Creative Commons is moving to a monthly gathering! We’ll be gathering together every last Monday of the month, and alternating between our regular Creative Commons worship space, and a focused workshop. This month we will be offering a song writing workshop. Our regular creative worship space will also be open if you would like to bring your own art to work on. Contemplative Christmas is a space to set aside time for contemplative practices in Advent. This year our focus will be on Lectio Divina readings as we look at Jesus and the Holy Family through the lens of migration, connecting them to our current reality. If you have wondered why we understand immigration to be a faith and theological issue, this time is for you. If you have been looking for space to rest in Christ's presence, this space is for you. Our regular Immanuel Prayer space will be our practice the second week led by Michelle Craig. Sign up for one or all three weeks, whatever your schedule permits.
